Getting my LeakyCon roomate situation sorted out. I was going to book my ticket and train tonight, but after looking at how much the hotel would be if it was just me, I know I can’t afford to go if I don’t find three or four roomies to split the cost. Fingers crossed in hopes I can get this stuff sorted.

There are so many amazing web series happening lately. It’s gotten me thinking, why the hell couldn’t I get mine rolling now? And then I realize that I don’t have the awesome support system that these amazing, creative minds do. I don’t have the friends to back me, nor the popularity to garner the right attention and sponsorship to be able to pull off the show I wish to create. And then I get sad and sleep for a few days.
Step 1: Write about people who aren’t white.

You will very rarely see me curse, tumblypoos, but…but…I mean, what the fuck? How is this even possible? This reads like an Onion article.
To be clear, it is now ILLEGAL to teach de la Pena’s novel (which I’ve read and which is excellent) in schools, not because the book contains violence or drug use or massively unerotic blow jobs, but because it contains Mexican American characters. (The protagonist of the novel is only half Mexican, but apparently that is too Mexican for Arizona.)
That’s it. That’s the whole reason it can’t be taught in schools.

The short, a-line-ish cut. Or lots of choppy layers and wispy bangs. I don’t know what to do color-wise. I was thinking perhaps a really light chestnut brown with tons of micro streaks of greens, blues and purples. Or going completely blond again. Or something. I don’t know. D:
